Our members are telling us that they enjoy the Instant Messaging services offered by other sites such as AOL, MSM, and Yahoo. We have considered many options and have decided to utilize a cross-platform instant messaging system. We call it the Universal Instant Messenger or UIM for short.

The UIM is a cross-platform instant messaging system that allows you to keep in touch with Christian friends, relatives and business associates using AOL, ICQ, MSM, and Yahoo! instant messengers (as well as those who'll be using our MyCCBA IM service currently in development).

When email isn't fast enough, the UIM is the perfect tool.
Ministries with international missionaries may be using a variety of instant messaging services to communicate. Real time communication has never been easier with this tool. All you need is basic Internet access.

When you download the UIM you will then need to run it to install the software that will reside on your computer. So, be sure to remember where you save the file called myccba_UIM.exe. If you cannot find it, use the find file tool located behind the Start button below (left).

During the installation you will be asked to input the instant messaging Usernames and Passwords for any AOL, ICQ, MSM or Yahoo accounts you have and wish to access through the your UIM (in order for the UIM to function you must have an IM account with at least one of these other services).

Please understand that the account and password information you enter when installing or adding accounts to the UIM resides on your computer and that information is only used to connect you to your account at the IM service you already subscribe to. No information about your account is transmitted to us.
