Configuring Your AOL® for a BYOA Account

As mentioned in previous pages, AOL® allows you to use other ISP's to connect to its service. Using our ISP program with AOL's BYOA plan can save you money! (Read about it!)

To setup your AOL service to use PNG/CCBA's ISP follow these 4 simple steps listed below.

STEP 1 - Access AOL Setup

AOL as you normally do and click on the Setup button to your lower left with your left mouse button.

STEP 2 - Access Expert Setup

On the “AOL Setup” screen, click on Expert Setup to your lower left with your left mouse button.

STEP 3 - Modify the Connection Setup

On the “Connection Setup” window select “ISP/LAN Connection” by clicking on it one time with the left mouse button. Click Close in the lower left corner of the window.

STEP 4 - Signing on to AOL

On the “Sign On” screen you will now see “ISP/LAN Connection” in the “Select Location” box.

GETTING ON AOL

Dial up to PNG/CCBA by double clicking on the “Shortcut to PNG/CCBA” icon on your desktop. This was created when you ran the PNGUSA.exe installation program downloaded from our site or installed from a disk sent to you in the mail.

Make sure your PNG/CCBA Username and Password are entered correctly then click the Connect button. Once you are connected to PNG/CCBA, start the AOL software and login with your AOL Screen Name and Password, NOT your PNG/CCBA Username and Password.

AOL BYOA PLAN

(If you are already a member of the AOL service)

To switch to this plan, log on to AOL and go to the Accounts & Billing area at Keyword:“Billing”. Click on “Change Billing Method” or “Price Plan”.

In order to avoid surcharges, you must connect to AOL via PNG/CCBA. PNG and CCBA are NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AMERICA ONLINE CHARGES.
